Dev is the Founding Director of Med Intelligence the Healthcare Informatics division of MedGlobal Health Corporation. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Med Intelligence and MedGlobal Health driving the overall vision and strategic direction for the business. He is also the technical architect envisioning and spearheading the design and development of the med intelligence software.
As President & CEO of MedGlobal Health, he researched the market potential for medical tourism and medical services outsourcing. Dev created the vision and strategy for MedGlobal Health, a start-up venture, and developed the o-MSO (Offshore Medical Services Outsourcing) business model for the company.
Dev is also a seasoned program / project management, data analytics, software development, IT, and strategy professional with over 25 years of experience in the banking, insurance, wealth management, healthcare, telecommunications, IT consulting, software development, and government industry sectors. He has successfully delivered large and complex data analytics / BI, application development, digital transformation, enterprise application integration, ICT infrastructure, technology centric business transformation and process re-engineering initiatives.
Dev brings extensive consulting and functional experience with leading global and Canadian companies such as Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Sun Life Financial, HSBC Bank USA, HP Enterprise Services, IBM Canada, Bell Canada, Rogers, Nortel Networks, AT&T Canada (Unitel), ResponseLogic, Scotiabank, National Trust, Knowledge First Financial, Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada, Symcor, Resolve Corporation (D+H), Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, Liquor Control Board of Ontario, Oral-B Laboratories and Gillette Canada.
He led multi-million dollar enterprise initiatives and programs with project team sizes up to 70 staff at leading global companies, while coaching and mentoring high performance IT delivery teams. Dev has successfully managed the delivery of time-boxed, fixed budget and complex enterprise initiatives with high business impact, risks, uncertain business requirements or new technology introduction.
Dev is also the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Thejes Consultancy Inc., a management and information technology consulting company based in Mississauga, Canada.
Dev holds the Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) designation from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) of UK, equivalent to a Master’s degree which specializes in business strategy, decision making, risk, financial management and control. He also has the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CIMA of UK. In addition, Dev has valid Project Management Professional (PMP) and Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) global credentials from the Project Management Institute (PMI) of USA. He also has a Certificate in Enterprise Architecture from University of Toronto and has studied Computational Science at University of Leeds in England.
